1. Install Formidable Forms

This first part is just as easy as installing any plugin in WordPress. To get access to our AWeber add-on, you just need our Plus plan. Once you have that, you'll be able to connect your AWeber account.

2. Connect your AWeber account

After you've got Formidable setup, go to Formidable → Global Settings → AWeber and insert your authorization code. Click save (update) and you're done!

3. Create a form

The next thing to do is create a form to collect data for your AWeber account. To do this, go to Formidable → Forms and click Add New. Name your form, then you'll be taken to the form builder page.

Here's where you can add your form fields. Many users will be making simple opt-in forms to grow their subscribers, but you can create any kind of form you want.

4. Configure your AWeber form settings

Now that you've created your form, you need to tell it to send the correct data to AWeber. This is managed from Settings → Actions & Notifications for each form.

Just click on the AWeber button to add an action. And if you want, the same form can add users to multiple lists! Just add more form actions.

5. Publish your AWeber form

Now that your form is ready, you need only publish it. There are many ways to do this with Formidable. The simplest way is by copying your form shortcode into any text area on posts and pages.

The above also works with every text area in all major page builders like Beaver Builder, for example. You can also publish your form with the Formidable widget, or by using a block in the Gutenberg page builder.
