Our amazing developers may be creating the features that make Formidable Forms the most advanced WordPress form builder, but someone else deserves all the credit for helping Formidable Forms grow and become as powerful as it is.
And that's you.
Without you, we wouldn't have the inspiration and dedication to our product. You help us make Formidable Forms better with your wonderful reviews, excellent feedback, and (most importantly) the epic projects you create!
We're amazed at what our customers build. From helping web design agencies solve problems to creating directories for occupational therapists, you all make Formidable go and grow.
So, we wanted to take a moment to highlight you all and how you inspire us every day.

A look at Formidable Forms today
If you were with us in 2010, you may remember how Formidable looked and worked and how far it's come. So far that it was named Formidable Pro at the time.
If you weren't with us then, well, here's the form builder then vs. now:
And while we love how much better everything looks (and works) in the plugin, we're stat junkies. There's little that gets us more excited than a fun set of numbers. And the ones we're about to share, well, they made us very happy.
Here's a look at what you have done with Formidable Forms:
- Formidable Forms Lite has over 23 MILLION all-time downloads
- An estimated 2.3 million forms have been built
- And 924+ million estimated entries have been submitted to those forms
And we think that's pretty impressive. Helping your users and your business is a lot of work, and we're just happy we could be a part of it.

Well, our support team was extremely eager to answer your questions and problems—so eager that our average first response time was only 2 hours and 9 minutes!
We know many people say it, but we mean it: we love helping you all out.
That's why our developers were hard at work in 2024. Last year, Formidable Forms received over 20 major updates, not including the small bug fixes and design improvements you'd only learn about by reading our changelog 😉.
But, for the major improvements, we wanted to highlight them one more time in case you missed something big that could benefit your WordPress site.

Logged-out editing
One feature that you requested was logged-out entry editing.
You want to allow people to edit their submissions without security issues, whether it's guest posts or listings.
So, our developers worked hard to add it to Formidable Forms. And 2024 was the year we added it!
Now, you can set up the permissions and control what users can access. This is perfect for allowing people to edit their posts from the front end, freeing up your time and simplifying your workflow so you can focus on more important things!
This is also great for situations where you want people to save and continue their forms, whether they're logged in to your site or not.
Ranking fields
We imagine you already know this, but ranking surveys and quizzes are incredibly popular.
Especially if you want to add a quick lead generator to your website, few things spread as fast as a survey ranking Harry Potter characters or a Buzzfeed-style quiz. Or, if you need something a bit more professional, you may like our Candidate Ranking template.
Cloudflare Turnstile
A lot of time may have passed since Formidable Forms first started, but one thing still remains true.
Spam is annoying.
While there are plenty of options for spam protection (reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, etc.), they're not the most user-friendly. We can all remember a time staring at a CAPTCHA puzzle, trying to figure out if the small bit of tire in the bottom right image counts as part of the bike or not. (We think it should, but we still don't know if it does.)
So, enter Cloudflare Turnstile to stop form spam, but do it behind the scenes where users won't even notice. And we knew our customers would love that option for their forms.
So now you can add CloudFlare Turnstile to your forms in a few minutes. And best of all, it's free! Nothing like having to pay nothing to get great spam protection, right?
Charity Tracker
At Formidable Forms, we value the work that charity does.
The hard work of various charities helps make the world a better place. That's why it's one of our missions to give back constantly. From Mentors International to Save the Children, we also want to do our part, so we gave almost $8000 to charity in 2024.
But that can come in more ways than just us giving to charity. That's why we created the Charity Tracker template.
With this template, any non-profit or charity can add a fundraising thermometer to their site to track donations in real-time.
Normally, this would take hours of coding or involve hiring a developer to create it for you.
Instead, we'd like ours to do the hard work for you and save you time. And that's just the start of the application templates we'll create. So be sure to reach out and let us know what you'd like to see next!
Calendar and Map Views
We think one thing that makes Formidable Forms the most advanced form builder is Formidable Views. The ability to take form submissions and create almost anything you want to show to users or your own employees is unmatched in the WordPress world.
But that doesn't mean we're done making it better for you. And one way we did that in 2024 was by upgrading Calendar Views and Map Views!
We redesigned the Calendar Views to look better and more modern to match the feeling of the internet today. And we added the ability to display information easily within a popup for a better user experience.
This is perfect for events calendars or appointment calendars with multiple monthly events!
Best of all, you control the customization. So, you can design a calendar that not only functions as well as your website but also looks as good as it, too.
And then there's Map Views.
Whether you're displaying business locations or want to show the location of an event, this update made it easier, better, and more beautiful.
Like the Calendar popups, you can add to the popup so website visitors can see important information at a glance.
With this upgrade, it's the best way to embed Google Maps in WordPress (at least in our opinion). 😉
User Registration Repeaters
Signing up for a membership or a club is a pain.
There are all the fields, and it seems so time-consuming. And that's just for one person. But with User Registration Repeaters, we wanted to make it a bit easier.
And that passes down to your users! This means they have an easier time signing up, making them more likely to sign up and complete your form!
With one form submission, they could register one, two, three, heck, even 100 users (though we wouldn't recommend that). But the point is that we know form conversions are important to you, and we want to help you get more.
ConvertKit
And last, here is an update for our email marketing lovers: ConvertKit integration!
With almost 600,000 users, there are many people who rely on ConvertKit. However, the forms were always a bit limited.
So, we added a ConvertKit integration so you could get the full power of ConvertKit's email marketing, but Formidable's form building.
With a just a little setup, you can instantly send newsletter subscribers information straight to your dashboard. Just add a ConvertKit form, and then you can add their name, email, and any necessary custom information.
And that's only a few of the updates we released this year. For the sake of brevity, we left off other incredible features. But stay tuned because there are plenty more coming in 2025!
