It seems like each year, Formidable Forms can't get any more powerful.
Then, our developers go and blow our (high) expectations away, and we see just how powerful it can really be. And this past year was no different!
From Formidable Forms 6.0 to a built-in AI field to Stripe payments in Formidable's free plugin ā It's safe to say our developers were MIGHTY busy.
So, let's dive into all of the features we released with one thing in mind: you.
Formidable's feature releases in 2023
Formidable Forms 6.0
A new version of Formidable Forms doesn't mean one new feature.
That'd be too boring. Instead, Formidable Forms 6.0 had three new features: the new Visual Form Styler, a Form Confirmation action, and a revamped User Interface (UI)!
Starting with our Form Styler, our developers made it way easier to customize your forms. From the font to the colors to the spacing ā it's all now under the Style menu.
Next up was simplifying everything that happens after your user submits a form. And one of those was the Confirmation action.
Just like styling your forms, this was a hassle before. Now, it's much more intuitive and faster so you can focus on building and publishing your forms ā not toying with settings.
Last was making Formidable Forms look better.
So, we searched for a better surgeon than the Kardashians use. And we found one that has made Formidable Forms look incredible.
We hope you're loving it just as much as we are.
PDF editor
Adding PDFs to Formidable Forms in 2022 was a huge deal.
Making them even more powerful and customizable in 2023? Even bigger! With Formidable Views and PDFs, your imagination is the only limit to what you can create.

Form abandonment is a serious problem for online forms.
Previously, solving it meant using complicated tags and finding the data in Google Analytics 4 (GA4). But with Formidable Forms, it's as simple as flipping a toggle!
Then, you can send out a quick recovery email to bring them back to your form to finish it. All this and more with form abandonment tracking.

But having to create charts in WordPress, design them, or even code them? Forget about it! And that's the way it was previously with Formidable. You could create beautiful charts and graphs, you just needed to add some extra elbow grease to make them beautiful.
Our developers simplified the future of Formidable's WordPress charts and graphs plugin, though.
Now, it's as easy as adding the Formidable Chart block and then customizing it in the sidebar.
Pie charts, bar charts, and even maps are only a click away. And the customization options are in the same spot! So no confusing code or searching through settings.

I am excited about AI field. It gives an opportunity to implement AI features in any customers project.
From templates now made our developers life much easier! Thank you!
We initially bought FF to create an online survey. That grew into two surveys. Before you knew it, we were using it for a variety of bits and pieces. And then, a client asked us if we could create a climate risk assessment application. Lo and behold, we succeeded. And now, we are working on a volunteering application and management application. In short, FF has turned out to be an incredibly versatile application that keeps getting better.
It looks like I finally found the form builder that will assist my in my projects. I seek to create a solar panel calculator and I think formidable is exactly what I need.
